Receive The Greatest Gift of All This Christmas
God gave us The Greatest Gift Of All when He sent His Son Jesus to earth. At Christmas we give gifts to family and friends out of love for them, not as reward for something they’ve earned. We just give the gift and hope it’s received. It’s the same with God’s gift to us of Jesus. He would love for you to receive Jesus and connect to Him.
God Sent Jesus To Earth To Show His Love For Us.
1 John 4:9 says This is how God showed His love to us: He sent His one and only Son into the world so that we could have life through Him.
John 1:14 says Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth.
In John 10:10 Jesus says; I came to give life—life in all its fullness.
God Loves Us
John 3:16 says; God loved the world this way. He gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.
God Wants To Be In A Loving Relationship With You
Sin is what separates us from a relationship with God. Romans 3:23 says All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.
Jesus Died For Us To Save Us From Our Sins
Philippians 2:8-10 And He humbled Himself even further, going so far as actually to die a criminal’s death on a cross. Yet it was because of this that God raised Him up to the heights of heaven and gave Him a name which is above every other name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
Romans 10:9 tells us If you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and in your heart you have faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved
2 Corinthians 4:14 Because we know that God raised the Lord Jesus to life. And just as God raised Jesus, He will also raise us to life. Then He will bring us into His presence together with you
Putting Your Faith And Trust Jesus Is The Way To God
Faith in Jesus ends that separation from God and connects us with Him.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me.
Romans 10:10 We believe with our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we declare with our mouths that we believe, and so we are saved.
God Wants To Be Good To You
2 Corinthians 9:8 says Since God loves you, He is able to give you more than you need. You will always have every good thing that you need for yourselves. And you will have enough to do many good things to help other people
God Has A Loving, Caring Plan For Your Life.
Jeremiah 29:11 I know what I have planned for you,” says the Lord. “I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future.
God Provides Help & Guidance For Us Through The Holy Spirit
Ephesians 1:14 The Holy Spirit was given to us as a promise that we will receive everything God has for us. God’s Spirit will be with us until God finishes His work of making us complete. God does this to show His shining-greatness.
It’s through putting our faith and trust in Jesus that we have our sins forgiven, receive eternal life and help from the Holy Spirit. It’s a positive life changing decision.
This is God’s gift to us. It’s not something we can earn, we just have to receive and accept His gift. God loves you just as you are right now. You don’t have to earn His love. His grace is what saves you. Ephesians 2:8 tells us You have been saved by grace because you believed. It was a gift from God. Once we receive Jesus, we get a fresh, clean start. God becomes our loving heavenly Father
God Is Pursuing You
God has been pursuing you and wants to give you the gift of eternal life, free you from your past and give you a fresh, clean start. In 2 Corinthians 5:17 it says “Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new”
Accept Jesus As Your Savior – Pray This Prayer
Dear Jesus, my sin is keeping me from being in a loving relationship with You. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross and was raised from death. I come to you by faith and gratefully accept your gift of salvation. Forgive my sins. Bring me in relationship with You. Come into my heart. I accept and trust the plans you have for my life and want to live for you.
